Today my beloved mother had very serious back surgery that is leaving her in the hospital for the next few days, followed by a long and intensive recovery.
In life, we are all fighting our own battles; some are bigger than others. All are important because they affect the persons life.
Taking the time to be kind to everyone each day is important. Someone that you may be too busy for or unkind to may be having the worst day of their life. A little kindness goes a long way.
Taking extra time to make someone feel special, loved and cared for is as important each day as going to the gym. Exercise not only your body but your soul.
Today, I spent a good part of my day taking care of my mom and I have a feeling that will be the trend over the coming months. I am thankful to have my mom in my life and I gladly would do anything for her as she has done for me.
I love you mom…get well soon!
