Refuse to give up…

Day 2 back training after nearly 3 weeks without challenging myself physically.

At the beginning of the month, I was setting personal lifting records in the gym and now I feel like weak sauce.

This too shall pass…

I like being strong, I like feeling strong. I am a fighter, I will not give up on myself.

Currently, I am in Yakima Washington for a long range shooting school. Staying in a hotel. On the road, there are many choices one can make. For this trip, I chose to pay a bit more for my room in exchange for some of the luxuries that home can provide:

1. A refrigerator

2. A cooktop/kitchen

These two elements are important because they allow me the ability to prepare my own “home cooked” nutritious meals and the money that I save on dining in pays the difference in my room rate plus will help me pull off some LBS.

This hotel has a very limited gym. Limited meaning a treadmill and an elliptical. Normally, I would be quite disappointed in the lack of equipment but I am okay with it this week as I want to wade gently back into working out before I kill myself in crossfit next week.
