Lessons Learned in Life….

This past weekend was my 33rd birthday. As I get older, I find myself being happier and more content with less. Feeling less pressure to live up to other peoples ideals of what ” I should be like, be doing, etc.”

I must say that it is a relief to FINALLY get to the age where you are really comfortable with who you are, what your goals are, how you are going to achieve them and what makes you happy.

To reward myself for my birthday and due to my extremely busy weekend schedule, I did not make the gym, but today, I was up bright and early and back at it!

Happy Birthday Kristy. I continue to pretty much follow my meal plans you set me up with as part of your program. I have to say that overall I feel a lot better than before I started. Bear hunting was a bust. We hunted for a week and saw nary a bear. But we did spy nearly every other life form on the hunt. Were even able to see one of Oregon's radio collared Wolfs. I was not exactly into the shape I had hoped for the climbs up the steep canyons above the Grande Rhonde.I think the 67 years of pounding my body has endured has taken it's toll. Those canyons are for the younger hunters. Keep up the great routine, We love seeing your new postings and hunting adventures. We are looking fwd to the Fall Elk hunt in an area much kinder and gentler to these old bones. I have a few more pounds to shed so have reduced the calories accordingly. Thanks again for your help and good luck on your adventures.
