It was an awesome hog hunt in Sweden with JR Hunting doing some problem animal control on his family estate. Their management goal annually is a minimum of 40 hogs to help prevent crop damage. The hogs are exclusively harvested off of the growing crop fields in order to prevent crop depredation during the growing season. Plus, all of the harvested meat is shared among the hunting team for fresh sausages, pulled pork and more!
The hunts were at night using my Ruger rifle combined with the Nightforce SHV 3-10×42. The illuminated reticle combined with the Lightforce Huntsman light was a winning combination.
