Rachel is a hard-core hunter that is inspiring lady hunters around the world. Her work has taken her to guide and work horse crews in the Northwest Territories, the Yukon, and at her home in British Columbia.
In the episode she shares advice on how to get started in your desired hunting career as a wrangler or guide, advice on managing a social media page, and more. Rachel is doing big things. She currently owns and operates Bear Pro Safari’s in Northern Saskatchewan and has started her own equine breeding program. She is even launching a YouTube channel, Rachel Ahtila, where her motto is, “Don’t be afraid to start where you are, to get to where you want to be.” On the channel, she will be Vlogging, and creating a lot of “how to” content.
