On this episode of Wild & Uncut, Kristy Titus is at the NRA Annual Meetings in the Ruger – Marlin booth, with Team Ruger shooter, Trevor Baucom. Trevor Baucom earned a coveted spot on Team Ruger in 2018, becoming the first disabled Veteran to join a lineup of some of the world’s most elite shooters.
A medically retired Chief Warrant Officer and Blackhawk pilot, Baucom has competed in multiple disciplines of the competitive shooting world including the MidwayUSA and NRA Bianchi Cup, IDPA Indoor National Championship and the World Speed Shooting Championships (Steel Challenge), breaking down barriers for physically challenged and wheelchair-bound shooters. He travels the country to range day events on behalf of Ruger and his sponsors.
Additionally, Trevor is the founder and host of the Adaptive Defensive Shooting Summit (ADSS), an accessible shooting event for people with disabilities of all skill levels and knowledge of firearms. ADSS features both training with world-class instructors and IDPA-style pistol competition. Baucom competes in production matches using a variety of Ruger products.
