Cora is quite the herd-bound little lady! This week, I’m committed to riding her three consecutive days away from the other mules. Each time we reach a point where she starts to feel anxious, we pause our ride. If she attempts to turn back towards her buddies, we return to that spot and trot circles and then try again. It took me an hour just to get her to sand calmly with her back to the herd which was only 100 yards away. With patience, a positive mindset, and determination, I’m confident that soon we’ll be exploring all around my property, away from her friends. Goals!
