Ruger Amercian Transformation! Hey Ruger American enthusiasts! I had a blast upgrading my Gen 1 Ruger American, turning it into a sleek new version! I swapped out the factory stock for the MDT LSS chassis and added the SCS buttstock (https://mdttac.com/) which looks amazing! Check out this video for most of the transformation process. Not shown in the video: I struggled a bit with installing the mag release (that spring can be a real challenge to depress and punch in the permanent pin!) and I skipped the part where I removed the cheek riser to insert the bolt, but this video gives a good idea on how to get it done. And, if I can do it, you can too!
