Ladies let me introduce you to Initial Ascent backpacks – this company is founded and operated by two men, Dennis and Joe and let me just say they are incredible people making an incredible product. Not only do they fundamentally align with my values as a Christian company, they also live and operate under the Dave Ramsey lifestyle, which I’m obsessed with.
Beyond being great people, they make a great product – they care about their customers and are at the shows listening and helping their customers find the perfect pack for their upcoming adventure. Although this frame is designed to fit a short torso 13-17″, it’s tough. I carried 140# (more than my bodyweight) on this frame. The waist belt was small enough to cinch the load tight and secure against my body.
