In the midst of the chaos, I receive an urgent phone call from a neighbor: “The fire’s heading your way. You may need to evacuate your property!” With no time to waste, I scramble to secure my horses and mules taking them to safety. Will the ranchers be able to save their homes, cattle, and livestock before the flames consume everything in their path? With limited resources, fierce determination, and a tight-knit community banding together, it’s a race against time to protect everything we’ve worked for.
