Everyday Challenge
Today I find myself in Houston Texas for the National Rifle Association Convention and on a time zone that left me waking up at 3:00am my normal time.
Everyday is a challenge, today it was waking up and digging to find the motivation to get my workout in when I wanted to hit the snooze button. Instead, I jumped out of bed, grabbed a cup of coffee and hit the hotel gym.
It is rare to never that I am impressed with a hotel’s gym, but this hotel has a GREAT gym.
On the wall was the photo of the day. Glad I woke up for this one.
Prepare For It- Got up early to ensure I got my workout in.
Fuel For It- Homemade protein bars for breakfast followed by the prompt delivery of an egg white omelet. Good start for the day.
Train For It- In the GYM!
Rest For It- Tonight, hit the sheets early to do it all again!
My workout was not a long or as intensive as I would have liked but with early morning appointments and a slamming busy schedule, I got in what I could.
What are you doing today to Prepare, Fuel, Train and Rest your body? If you answered nothing to any of those questions, it’s time to get back on track! Everyday will hold challenge, you must overcome that challenge, whatever it may be, and take care of your body, mind and spirit. Start right now…No more excuses.
