The destination for all things outdoors and hunting, Cabela’s was welcomed with open arms to the Noblesville IN community. The week long Grand Opening Celebration was highlighted with booths from organizations like the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Friends Of The NRA, The Well Armed Woman, and SCI.
Shoot Like A Girl brought along their state of the art 50 foot trailer welcoming attendees inside to shoot rifle and pistol with the military grade simulation system that replicates 80% of true recoil, giving women a real life experience at shooting without firing a projectile. Women were also welcomed to try their prowess at archery shooting a variety of compound bows.
The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation set up air rifles welcoming kids of all ages to take aim and practice some SAFE shooting (Shooting Access For Everyone). Hundreds of children took delight in testing out their marksmanship skills while learning about wildlife and habitat conservation.
The Safari Club International set up a 3D archery shoot for kids to enjoy in the delights of everything hunting from giant bull elk to dinosaurs.
The weekend was really fun for the entire family with door prizes for the first to enter the store and appearances from myself, Dan & Don Pickell, Olympic Gold Metalist Cory Cogdell and Cabela’s American Archer, Tom Nelson.
It was a dream come true for myself seeing the Kristy Titus Collection of fine jewelry, #InspiredByWildPlaces by Montana Silversmiths on display at the gift counter.
The 82,000sq.ft. Noblesville store featuring the mountain of big game and 6,000 gallon fish tank plus greatest outdoor shopping in the world, is going to be a big draw for the community and surrounding area.
