Buckle up people we need to #HuntTheFacts now more than ever! With congress & state legislatures reconvening for the 2021 session, the chatter about widespread legislative trophy bans will start picking up.
One of the main arguments that anti-hunters use to rally support for their cause is the idea that hunting safaris and the monetary value that brings to economies and wildlife conservation can simply be replaced by photographic safaris. The country of Botswana thought this same thing and they banned hunting in 2014. The African nation soon found out that the cultural, economic and conservation value of hunting simply cannot be replaced- that’s why the hunting ban was lifted in 2019.
With misinformation campaigns from anti-hunting groups heating up, we need to Hunt The Facts. And if you think your hunting rights aren’t at risk, think again. We must arm ourselves with knowledge we must be the voice that tells the truth. Hunters are the greatest conservationists on earth and are stewards to both wildlife and wild places.
