RIDING BABY MULES & BUCKING HORSES

After 7 months of not riding the baby mules, I decided it was a good day to climb back on them…well at least Lexie and Lynx. Baby Lyla needs some work before I get back in the saddle atop her. With all of them now being 2 years old, you can really see the difference between the work I put in my mules at such a young age (3 months and 6 months old) vs getting my filly at a yearling. Six months of ground work and a couple trips in the back country made such a HUGE impact on the disposition of my mules. Little Lyla just needs some ground work and trips to the mountain and she’ll be just fine. Notice my husband encouraging me to ride Lyla. I’m pretty sure he wants me to hit the dirt.

Got to love married life.
